Harrington's LB lever hoists combine easy operation with a compact, reliable design that easily handles its real world demands. The LB lever hoists are much smaller and lighter than previous versions, yet hey range from 3/4 to 9 T and they are built to last with machined, heat treated, spilt load double reduction gears. Their Western-style load brake system is totally enclosed to protect against dirt and moisture. The chains are much stronger and nickel plated to prevent corrosion and their guides are much easier to clean.

Operation is a breeze with the LB series because only one hand is needed. A spring loaded steel knob assures the hoist will not free wheel under the load. Unlike other lever hoists, the disassembly requires no special tools and there are less parts.

Zenmar Welcomes Our Newest Addition

Zenmar would like to introduce you to the newest member of the Zenmar family, little "Handsome Harry" Rickert. Harry is here "part time" every Monday.

Handsome Harry is a three and a half month old Black Labrador Retriever. The proud father is one of our quality service specialists, Lorne Rickert. Lorne brought Harry in to Zenmar about a month ago. Since then, once a week we have been watching him grow and adjust to his new surroundings. Harry lets our Zenmar mascot, Reilly, know he's around. Reilly is starting to share his bed and toys; and quite frankly, tolerate this new puppy.

Introducing The Gorbel G-Force Q and iQ 660 LB Units

Gorbel, the world leader in the Intelligent Assist Device market, has added two new models to their award-winning G-Force Intelligent Lifting Device line. The new models are the G-Force Q and iQ units, now available in a 660 lb. (300 kg) capacity. These models offer more intelligence features and capabilities than earlier models.

Starting with the impressive 660 lb. lifting capacity, you are now able to lift engines, transmissions, machine tooling and dies! Float Mode is standard on both models allowing the operator to have ultimate control over the load just by applying upward or downward pressure.

To make tooling integration easier, there are add-on push button air valves and electrical switches. With the Q and iQ, you don't have to worry about twisting the coil cord either, thanks to the integrated collector and air swivel assembly.

Depending on your application, you have the choice of either a standard slide handle or the infinitely variable up/down control pendant. The new handle design features an LCD screen that indicates on-board diagnostics, preventative maintenance indicators, operation modes, programming menus, fault codes, and weight readouts. The OPS on the handle has been replaced with a photo sensor, making the G-Force more intuitive for operators and smoother for operations.

The new design also allows you to control one G-Force with two handles or two G-Forces with one handle for those extra long loads.

If that isn't enough, there are several programmable features that increase productivity and decrease errors. Auto-Unclamp and Part Present detection are a couple. The enhanced control package is a standard on the iQ and can be added to the Q. It allows you to program virtual limit stop points, speed reduction points and mode lockout to prevent unwanted changes. There are also up to 64 programmable inputs/outputs (I/O) which can be added in blocks of 8 I/O points to provide just the right functionality to your application.
