Employee Spotlight: Robin Reilly

Once upon a time, many years ago, a young lady came to Zenmar looking for a job. Instead, what she found was a career. That young girl was Robin Reilly, Accounts Payable Coordinator/Support Services, who next month will celebrate the completion of nineteen years of service to the company.

In this day and age of job hopping on a weekly basis, Robin is truly unique in her dedication to Zenmar. As her manager, Barry Breeding says, “stability in the accounting process is one of the cornerstones to any successful business and Robin has supplied stability and so much more to that key position.” As any owner would tell you, the accounts payable position requires someone with meticulous accounting skills, extreme trustworthiness, and dedication to get to the bottom of any problem; all of which are qualities that Robin possess.

In the past nineteen years, Robin met and married her husband Tim Reilly and they started a family. There is nothing more important to her than being a mom to her two children, Sean and Daniel. “I feel very fortunate to work with such great people and to build the friendships I have over the past years. The management has given me the flexibility to change my schedule to adjust to the life that a working mom needs in today’s world”.

Too Good To Be True? It's Not! Meet Envira-North

Twenty one years ago a company called Sun-North Systems Ltd. started to naturally ventilate agricultural and commercial buildings. Seventeen years later, with the help of their new Hurricane Ventilator and Altra-Air fan, they created Envira-North to focus on the industrial market.

These fans should not be confused with heaters or air conditioners because they do not heat or cool the air, instead they circulate it. It is just as useful in the winter too. Due to heat rising, the floor to ceiling temperature difference is approximately 1° F per vertical foot. Therefore, if the ceiling height is 24’, there is a 24° difference between the floor and the ceiling and the heat is going out of the roof. The Altra-Air fan circulates and mixes the air from floor to ceiling. As a result, it eliminates the drastic temperature difference and allows the thermostats to be lowered.

Not only can employees feel the temperature difference caused by the air movement, they also feel the lower humidity. The constant air circulation lowers humidity which eliminates condensation, mold growth, wet floors, and degradation to boxes and containers.
