 Why Are Ergonomics So Important For Flooring?
Oxygenated blood is pumped by the heart through arteries to our body, which uses oxygen as fuel. The blood then returns, via the veins, to our heart and lungs for 'refueling' and the process begins again with re-circulation of oxygenated blood through the arteries. Blood pressure and the normal contracting and relaxing of muscles around veins as we move, facilitates the return journey of blood through the one-way valve system in veins. Circulation and re-circulation can be inhibited when we have to stand on a hard surface or our movement is restricted for prolonged periods. Milagon's ergonomic flooring is designed to help counter this negative effect.

Matt Masaschi, Zenmar’s Baltimore Quality Service Specialist, is also a US Coast Guard Reservist. He was called to active duty to supplement security forces for President Obama’s inauguration ceremony. Matt was deployed each day from the Coast Guard Yard in Curtis Bay, MD, which also happens to be one of Zenmar’s customers. He operated in a security detail in and around the ports and harborssurrounding the Washington, DC area.
