We Are Certified Hoist Inspectors?

Zenmar's Certified Hoist Inspectors have completed the training needed to perform routine inspections of your hoists to ensure regulatory compliance, assist with safety and reliability and lower the total cost of crane ownership.

We will supply a certification record and inspection report. If needed, we will supply a repair proposal and complete any necessary repairs upon request. Once the hoist has passed inspection, it will be tagged with a date of certification.

Welcome Back Jay

JayZenmar Power Tools is pleased to announce the addition of Jay Hetherington.  Those of you that have been customers for many years might remember Jay.  He was the Quality Service Specialist in the Washington, DC territory from 1984 to 1994.  Jay went into Logistics Management following his previous tenure at Zenmar.  In February of this year he rejoined the team as our Project Manager.

As Project Manager Jay is responsible for the coordination of the installation crew for the Gorbel crane systems.  Jay also coordinates field service work and hoist inspections at the customer sites.  Jay’s prior knowledge of our industry adds even more support in our sales office.

Come Visit Our Newly Remodeled Shop!

TimOver the last few months we have been renovating and rehabbing our shop area to make it as efficient as possible in order to serve you better. Through a collective effort, we have improved the workflow by rearranging the work benches, storage areas and machines. We moved our repair storage area so it has central access to the work benches, testing areas and parts supply. Our tool write up area has expanded making it easier for you to drop off tools.

TestDuring the overhaul we cleaned and sealed our floors and updated our utilities to save costs and help the environment. We installed new energy efficient lighting and even some air turbines (with a 15 year warranty) from Envira-North. The air turbines naturally ventilate air throughout the building to keep it cool in the summer months without electricity. For more information click here or give us a call.

We replaced our old foam matting with Milagon's ergonomic matting (with a 10 year warranty). Each modular tile is made with 97% recycled material and it is the best ergonomic matting our employees have tried thus far. Milagon's matting has decreased their fatigue allowing them to stay ahead of our repair schedule. Click here to see some layout examples or call us for a quote.
